Equipment inspections allow users to review and record the condition of equipment using predefined inspection templates.
Before you begin
The equipment item must already exist in the Equipment Register.
At least one Inspection Template must be available.
You must have "Modify" access to the Equipment Register.
How to create an inspection
Open the Menu > Operations > Equipment Register.
This opens the Equipment Register in the PWA.
Select the equipment item for which you create an inspection.
Open the Inspections tab.
Select Create inspection in the top right.
In the new window:
Select the Inspection Template available
Choose the Inspector
Set the Inspection Date
Add Notes (optional)
Click on the Create Inspection button.
An inspection tile is created for the equipment item.
Once an inspection is created, the assigned Inspector can complete it.
How to complete an inspection
On the same Inspections page, select the inspection tile.
Complete each inspection check by going through each item.
Update the Notes if required.
Select Save to keep the inspection in progress, or
select Complete Inspection once all required checks are finished.
When completed, the inspection status changes from In Progress to Completed.
Additional options
Preview:
To view an inspection, select the eye icon.
Deletion:
To delete an inspection, select the three dots icon and choose Delete Inspection.
