How to find equipment in the Equipment Register

The Equipment Register includes filtering and barcode search to help users quickly locate equipment items.

How to filter equipment

1. Go to Operations > Equipment Register. The module will open in the PWA window.
    

2. Use the filter fields at the top of the page, and enter the information you are looking to filter the item by. 
   When more than one piece of information is entered, the system will search for an item that meets both conditions simultaneously.
    

3. Click on the Apply Filters button.
   The list should load with the equipment that matches the entered criteria.

How to find equipment using a barcode

There are two ways: scanning the barcode or entering the barcode value.

Entering a barcode value

1. Go to Menu > Operations > Equipment Register.
    
2. Underneath the Equipment Filters, press Manual Entry
   
   
    
3. Enter the Barcode or Equipment ID in the field and press the Search button.
   
   

Scanning the barcode:

1. Go to Menu > Operations > Equipment Register.
    

2. Underneath the Equipment Filters, press Scan Barcode
   
   
    

3. Select the Find Equipment From Scan button.
   
   
   
    

4. Allow camera access if prompted by the browser.
   
    

5. Choose Start Camera.
   
   
    
    

6. Scan the barcode. 
   Once the scan is successful, the scanned code will appear on the screen. 
   
    

7. Select the Use This Code button to proceed to the Equipment Details page.
