How to bulk replace Resources

The Bulk Resource Replacement feature in the Scheduler module allows users to quickly and efficiently replace resources for scheduled tasks.

How to perform bulk replacement of Resources:

1. Go to the Scheduling module.
   
    
2. Click on the Replace Resource button.
   
   
    
3. In the new window, select Personnel or Aircraft Resource. 
   Please note, you can only search tasks by selecting one resource at a time.
   
    
4. Use the date range filter to narrow down the tasks you want to replace.
   
   
   
    
5. Click Search.
   
   The system will generate a list of available tasks and will perform an auto-validation of the current resources.
   
    
6. To update the resource, click on the resource for a relevant task and make a swap. 
   
    
   • If you selected Aircraft as the resource, the list will include all aircraft that meet the task's Resource Requirements 
      
   • If you selected Personnel, the list will include all personnel who meet the task's Resource Requirements 
     
      
7. After the replacement has been made, the system will auto-validate the new resource.
   You can also press the Validate button to refresh the process.
   
   The Validate function:
   • For Aircraft, it checks if the aircraft is available and not assigned to another task.
   • For Personnel, it checks whether the personnel:
     • is available and not assigned to another task
     • will not exceed the Work Practice rules
       
        
8. When done, click the Save button to confirm and apply the changes.
